MORE ABOUT REV
Rev Bowen served as a class teacher for eighteen years at the Live Oak Waldorf School in Meadow Vista, California, where he is now in his first year serving as the Pedagogical Development Director. He taught two classes from first through the eighth grade and another class for seventh and eighth. He attained his Waldorf Teaching Certificate from the Rudolf Steiner College and his Master’s in Human Development from St. Mary’s University. He has taught various courses and workshops for Waldorf teachers, public school teachers, and homeschooling families interested in Waldorf methods and/or pedagogy. Rev loves Anthroposophy as a spiritual path but has no interest in becoming a devotee of Rudolf Steiner. When he’s not visiting Waldorf schools, Rev enjoys listening to and making music, kayaking, snowboarding, playing (non-video) games, hiking, camping, and biking.
