Lauren Stigler

Movement & Games and
Grades Support Teacher

Ms. Stigler has brought her “cheesy” background from Wisconsin to Nevada back in 2017 to continue her athletic and educational career at The University of Nevada, Reno. She swam throughout her college experience and graduated with her Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) degree in 2021. Throughout college, she had three internships in which she was a HDFS teaching assistant at UNR – she created her own personalized online research study on love being a force for social justice, and she also was a student intern for a local non-profit organization, Awaken. She began her career as a Substance Abuse Counselor in 2021, where she thrived in being a helping hand for those struggling. She has aimed her goals and aspirations in working towards helping to create a brighter, happier, and healthier future for our youth, and has found that opportunity at the Nevada Sage Waldorf School.

You will most likely find Ms. Stigler enjoying her time going on hikes, going to Lake Tahoe, and finding new experiences to enjoy in nature.
