Chelsea Bratton

Chelsea Bratton

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Willow

Mrs. Bratton comes to us from the mountains of Western North Carolina.  There she taught in a 1st-3rd grade classroom at a Montessori/Waldorf-inspired school after leaving an amazing stint teaching pre-kindergarten at an outdoor child-led forest school.  When Chelsea learned that her husband was being relocated out west, she searched the entire California/Nevada border for the perfect school for both her and her children (ages 7, 5, and 3 years old).  Nevada Sage Waldorf School ticked all the boxes, and she made it her mission to make it her teaching home.

Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University and a Lower Elementary Montessori Certification through the North American Montessori Center.   In addition to being passionate about teaching, Chelsea also loves the outdoors.  She and her husband, Will, are very involved with Rudolph Steiner’s biodynamic agricultural practices.  They have a small biodynamic native fruit tree farm in Uruguay where they’re working towards Deméter Certification.  They look forward to doing some biodynamic preps and gardening on the Nevada Sage Waldorf School campus for years to come.
