Early Childhood
Our Continuing Care Program is our extended day program for Waldorf students in our mixed-age pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes who need care after 1:00 p.m. The program is designed to be a home-like atmosphere. After a busy morning in our Early Childhood Program, children have a quiet time to rest, refresh, and process their morning activities. They are treated to storytime, and many children take naps. This peaceful time of day allows children to enjoy a slower, nourishing time in a Waldorf environment and offers a space for them to continue to learn, socialize, create, and play.
The Early Childhood Continuing Care Program is 1:00-3:30 daily.
Grades
Nevada Sage Waldorf School has a Continuing Care Program for grade school children from 2:30-3:15 daily. On Thursday the program hours are from 1:15-3:15 due to early release.
