Theresa Morgan | Second Grade Teacher

Theresa Morgan

2nd Grade

Theresa comes to Nevada Sage Waldorf School with so much excitement and joy. Theresa has been an educator for the past decade in Reno, NV. Originally from a small town in upstate NY, her unique upbringing challenged her to develop and nurture an incredible amount of determination and grit. Theresa attended SUNY Cortland, where she studied abroad in both Costa Rica and Australia. She earned her Bachelor’s in Physical Education and Kinesiology in 2007 and earned her Master’s in Public Health and Education from Ithaca College in 2009. After graduating, Theresa desired something new, and in 2010 she packed up her car and moved to Reno, Nevada, where she quickly fell in love with all the beauty surrounding the amazing location that she feels fortunate to call home. Theresa is drawn to Waldorf education, feeling a deep connection to the thoughtful study of the development of the human being, and a living interest in helping students grow toward independent thinking. She believes a deep consciousness about why things are done sparks great opportunities for education, learning and growth.
