Milena Albrecht

Early Childhood Continuing Care

Miss Milena is originally from Bulgaria and grew up playing cello and piano in a specialized music school. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Pantcho Vladigerov Music Conservatory in Sofia, Bulgaria and Master of Music degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

After graduating, she has had a professional career in music and education for over 20 years in the USA. As a professional cellist, Miss Milena held positions in the Memphis Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Akron Symphony, Canton Symphony, and the New World Symphony. She has also performed in many music festivals throughout the country. In 2018, she moved to Reno, NV with her husband and son and taught for the Washoe County School District beginning string program. She performs regularly with the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and enjoys teaching her private cello and piano studio. In her free time Miss Milena enjoys visits to Lake Tahoe, skiing, cooking, sewing and traveling all over the world. She is very excited to be joining the staff at Nevada Sage Waldorf school this year.
