Miss Jessica was born and raised in Orange County, California and moved to Reno in late 2019 with her fiancé. Growing up, she spent most of her time at the beach and is now adjusting to her new life in the mountains. She always finds herself outdoors enjoying nature and appreciating her surroundings. After graduating high school in 2011, Jessica attended Saddleback College, first taking classes to pursue Nursing. While attending school, she worked as a part-time nanny where she discovered her love of helping and teaching children. She began majoring in Child Development and Education and transferred to California State University, Fullerton to study Child and Adolescent Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development.
Before moving to Reno, Jessica worked as an assistant teacher for three years at a Montessori school with children ranging from 3 months to 3 years of age. After moving, she took a few months off to get settled into her new home but greatly missed being in a classroom. She began working for Nevada Sage Waldorf School in February 2020 as a Continuing Care Teacher. This year, Jessica will be joining Miss Kelsey in the Willow Pre-K classroom.
